5C Learning Inc. is dedicated to giving back to the community through the 5C Charity Golf Tournament. The organizers of this tournament are East Richmond Educators who grew up in the No. 5 Road and Cambie area, hence hosting this tournament to give back to their community. It is an annual event benefiting local youth by giving them the opportunity to experience organized sports.

An integral part of the tournament is the Silent Auction in which, 100% of the proceeds are donated to Kidsport™. They, in turn, allocate funds to underprivileged youth who live specifically in East Richmond.

Kidsport™ provides grants for financially disadvantaged children ages 6 – 18, to participate in organized sports. They believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. Kidsport™ provides children with:

• The opportunity to enjoy a season of children’s sports programming.

• Healthy habits that will last their whole lifetime.

• Valuable life lessons and skills including leadership, practice, hard work, dedication and self-confidence.

• Access to mentorship and guidance from coaches.
